Megan has been passionately involved in the arts since first taking a photography class in the seventh grade. She followed this passion throughout high school and college and has a Fine Arts Degree from Missouri State University. She is actively involved in the world of art including local shows and exhibits, as well as had some of her work displayed at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. What draws her to this particular medium of art is the ability to capture an exact moment in time and endlessly preserve it. After seven years of working in a dark room, Megan embraced the new age of digital and expanded her education and knowledge in this ever-changing art form. While mostly shooting digital, she still enjoys working with her 35 mm film camera.
Megan lives and works in Austin, Texas. In addition to Art & Photography, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, playing tennis and SCUBA diving.
